EMTHINGS App - manage device settings
- To get to the device settings, tap on the device shown on the app's home page.
- Now you will see the device medications page. On the right top corner, you can click the three horizontal dots (...) to go to the device settings.
- The device setting has three main categories (1) Device info, (2) Device alerts, and (3) Times.
-
- Device info: Device name and group can be updated as per the preference. The device name is also reflected on the device screen once changed.
- Device alerts: User can adjust alert duration and tone level using the drop down option available for these settings. The duration can be changed between 15 and 60 seconds in 15 secs steps. The tone level can be Low, Med, High, and None. The None option mutes the device.
- Day time settings: This feature simplifies medication scheduling by allowing users to select a general time of day rather than an exact hour and minute. This makes it easier to set up and manage medication schedules at the device level for all medications. There are five predefined day time settings available:
- Early Morning
- Morning
- Afternoon
- Evening
- Night
Any changes made to the day time settings will automatically apply to all medications scheduled under those times, ensuring seamless and flexible medication management. This feature simplifies adjustments and ensures consistency across your entire medication routine.
The Schedule Flexibility Settings allow users to define a medication time window, enabling them to take their medication within ± minutes of the scheduled time. This feature is perfect for those who need flexibility in their routine, allowing them to take a dose slightly earlier or later while still ensuring it is automatically marked as taken.
- There is a Passive Mode option that allows the EMTHINGS Smart Medication Organizer to stop tracking medication intake while still sending reminders through the mobile app. This mode is especially useful when the user is traveling or away but still wants to receive medication alerts.
