App medication scheduling

EMTHINGS App - medication scheduling

  • Adding a new medication and its schedule to the EMTHINGS Smart Medication Organizer is simple. Just place your medicationbottle in an available device compartment and follow the easy steps in the app to set up the new medication schedule. It’s a seamless process to keep your medication routine on track.

  • Once you press "Next," you’ll be prompted to provide essential medication information and dosage details. The dosage refers to the quantity of the medication that needs to be taken at the scheduled time.

  • In the next step you will define the medication schedule. User can specify a start and end date, ensuring that the medication is managed only within the selected period. User has two easy ways to set up their schedule:

    1. Weekday based: Users can select specific days of the week (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday) on which the medication should be taken, followed by the desired time of day (e.g., Morning, Evening, etc.).
    2. Interval days based: This scheduling option allows users to set up medication schedules based on specific intervals of days and hours rather than fixed weekdays. This is particularly useful for:
      • Infrequent medications that need to be taken every X number of days (e.g., every 3 days).
      • Hourly interval-based medications, where a dose must be taken at regular time gaps within a scheduled day (e.g., every 2 hours).

  • The easy scheduling allows users to customize their medication plan while ensuring accurate tracking and reminders. Users can always revisit the schedule settings and make changes as needed.

    • Any updated schedule takes effect for future doses.
    • To temporarily disable a medication schedule, users can set a past end date—this allows them to pause medication without losing their settings or data.
    • When ready to resume, users can simply update the start/end dates to reactivate the schedule.

This ensures a seamless and hassle-free medication management experience.
